Color Profile: Pale Pink

Color is the quickest way to transform the mood of a space.  Pink is the universal color of love - as is red - but represents its softer side.

Pink is quietly bold and sophisticated when less saturated and combined with masculine shades of varying tones.  Dining rooms are excellent rooms to experiment with color.  A warm toned color as such will enliven conversation and encourage dinner guests to linger.  Everyone looks better in a pink room.  People who choose pink are romantics at heart and aren't afraid to go against the grain.  They are eternally feminine. The dining room was painting Dunn Edwards Pale Pink in flat finish and works well with the abudance of white painted trim and sheers.  The amazing lucite wall calendar is 48 x 48 shown with brass hardware and available on Etsy from Dare to Be Domestic.
